Bank of Sharjah integrates CR2-powered mobile banking app into their BankWorld multichannel platform

Bank of Sharjah, one of the UAE’s most prestigious corporate and retail banks, and CR2, a leading provider of self-service banking solutions, today announced that the Bank is extending its self-service offering with eBOS App, its new mobile banking app powered by CR2’s BankWorld platform. Customers of the Bank can download the eBOS App directly from the App store to their iOS mobile device allowing them to bank on the move.

The eBOS mobile App is driven from the same BankWorld platform as the Bank’s ATM, Retail and Corporate Internet and mobile SMS channels, allowing the bank to extend the functionalities available on their internet and ATM channels to their mobile offering. The app is unique in that it can deliver a unique customer experience to each customer segment as opposed to a “one-size-fits-all” approach. In addition, it leverages the Bank’s existing internet solution by extending the internet banking services and transactions to the mobile app without having to write these transactions specifically for the app.
