20.12.2006 - CR2 announce the availability of Sparrow 8
CR2, a global provider of multi-channel banking software solutions, has announced the availability of its Sparrow 8 ATM management software. Sparrow is a proven, multi-vendor ATM management solution, used by banks in over 40 countries worldwide.
Sparrow 8 is now live in a large Middle Eastern bank with 1,700 branches. The latest release of Sparrow is EMV compliant with significantly enhanced engineering. CR2’s Sparrow 8 ATM management system is now processing over 450,000 transactions per day for the bank. The project was completed in a rapid timeframe of less than 4 months during which more than 1000 ATM’s, 3.5 million cards and the bank's extensive network of POS terminals were converted from Sparrow 74.05 to Sparrow 8.
“The release of Sparrow 8 represents our continued commitment to supporting existing Sparrow users and marks an evolutionary path forward for these customers,” said Martin Dolan, CEO, CR2. “The latest release of Sparrow is compatible with our other CR2 channel solutions driven through the company’s BankWorld platform.”
