CR2 and senior banking officials meet with Irish President in Jordan and Saudi Arabia
Dublin, 15 th February 2006.- CR2, a global provider of channel banking, ATM and card payment software solutions, met with the President of Ireland as part of the Presidential Trade Mission to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
The Trade Mission was organised by Enterprise Ireland to give Irish companies an opportunity to develop their relationships with existing customers. In addition, EI also assisted by introducing companies not already represented in the area to local contacts.
President McAleese said ‘’ We see opportunities for Irish companies in Saudi Arabia and Jordan across many sectors and there has been very significant recent progress in term of our actively seeking out new business. We also see opportunities in partnering with Saudi and Jordanian companies and sharing their expertise, relationships and international market strategies’’
CR2 was one of the 25 companies who took part in the Business breakfasts which were held in Riyadh on 13th Feb and Amman on 15th Feb. CR2’s participating clients included Cairo Amman Bank, Export and Finance Bank, Union Bank for Savings and Investment, Jordan National Bank, Egyptian Arab Land Bank and Arab Jordan Investment Bank.
CR2 recently opened an office in Amman and are the only Irish IT company with a business base in Jordan. It hopes to extend its services in the Middle Eastern Market by growing its Saudi Arabian customer base with the assistance of this Trade Mission.
